It's kind of a wierd dynamic on CoH. Because there are no crafting skills and no property there are no natural meeting places, other then the two start up zones. It makes the game ideal for quick half hour adventures but after awhile you, or rather I, miss the festival atmosphere you'll find at the towns in other games. Fortunately my charcter is a 6'5" female tank whose costume looks like she slapped a few wet leaves on her, so I have no problem meeting people.
